London Spirit have confirmed the arrival of Tammy Beaumont as their third England centrally contracted player ahead of The Hundred.

The 29-year-old was selected as a marquee player by Spirit ahead of last year's inaugural edition, which was eventually postponed.

Captain Heather Knight and Freya Davies are the team's other two England stars.

West Indies batter Deandra Dottin and South Africa's Chloe Tryon are the overseas players signed up so far, with one berth remaining.

Spirit, who are based at Lord's, kick-off their campaign against Birmingham Phoenix at Edgbaston on July 23.

Beaumont, who will also represent Lightning in the Rachael Flint Heyhoe Trophy, is closing in on 4,000 international runs and spent the last Women's Big Bash League with Sydney Thunder.
