A knee injury in 2017 - during a series against - Sri Lanka set her back but, after a lengthy rehabilitation process she has returned and is ready to relish any opportunity that may come her way.
Selman's debut came in 2008, on the tour of Europe against Ireland, alongside many of her current teammates, and she had represented her country on 128 occasions as of January 2020.
Ahead of the T20 World Cup, she was the proud owner of the fourth best ODI bowling figures for West Indies - 5-15 in 2014 against New Zealand.
As well as a haul of more than 100 international wickets, she prides herself on being an frugal bowler, with an ODI economy of 3.46. In T20s, this remains one of her key assets.
