Sadia Iqbal is one of Pakistan’s newest additions, having made her T20I debut in October 2019 against Bangladesh.
In her three T20I appearances between then and the end of January 2020, she had taken four wickets at an average of 15, an economy rate of 5, and with best figures of 3-19, which came in the second match of the series against Bangladesh.
She has not only impressed so far on the international stage but also with the PCB Challengers in the National Triangular T20 Cricket Championship in Pakistan.
Her best figures came in the final as she took 1-25 to help her team to victory.
The Punjab-born bowler has also represented Faisalabad Women (2014-17), Higher Education Commission Women (2015), Pakistan Cricket Board Women’s XI (2017), the PCB Dynamites (2017-18) and the PCB Blasters (2018-19).
She has become very well-known in domestic cricket and her experience playing for many different teams in Pakistan has allowed her to play with many members of the current Pakistan team.
