Marizanne Kapp has become one of the most successful all-rounders in women’s cricket, well equipped with raw pace and aggressive bowling nature.

Her batting too has been consistent and she has always maintained a high batting strike rate.

Kapp has also made some valuable contributions with the bat, notably in the 2018 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in St Lucia where she was the leading runscorer for South Africa in the tournament, making 98 runs in four matches.

In her 75 T20Is for South Africa up until January 20, 2020, Kapp has taken 56 wickets at an average of 20.50, an economy rate of 5.39 and with best figures of 4-6.

She was also the first South African woman to take a T20 hat-trick.

In her T20I career, Kapp has scored 857 runs at an average of 18.63, a strike rate of 94.90 and with a high score of 56 not out. 

Kapp has also played in the KSL and WBBL, representing Surrey Stars and Sydney Sixers.

During her 70 matches for Sydney, Kapp has taken 77 wickets at an economy rate of 5.18 and with best figures of 4-18. With the bat, Kapp has scored 637 runs, with an average of 18.20, a strike rate of 101.11 and with a high score of 55 not out.
