Born: July 7, 1988
Role: Right-hand bat
Katie Perkins combines life as an international cricketer with a full-time career as a policewoman, working as a member of the Counties Manukau central neighbourhood policing team at Manurewa Police Station.
A nuggety middle-order batter, Perkins has a useful international record, though her game is perhaps more suited to the ODI format than the more brutal world of T20.
Coming into the T20 World Cup, she has struck just a single six in 39 T20I innings.
Her busy style, however, has seen her prove successful in the 50-over game.
Until making 78 against South Africa in early 2020, her highest ODI score of 70 had come against England in 2015.
