After a spell away from the side from 2012 onwards, Martin returned in 2016 to terrific effect
Born: February 7, 1985
Role: Right-hand bat, wicketkeeper
Wicketkeeper Katey Martin played her one and only Test for New Zealand in 2003, a game in which Hemlata Kala made a century for India.
There is an argument to suggest that nearing two decades later, the 35-year-old is only now finding her very best form.
Of her six ODI half centuries, five have come inside the last four years.
The other – in 2008 – came against an England side featuring Isa Guha, Charlotte Edwards and Jenny Gunn.
After a spell away from the side from 2012 onwards, she returned in 2016 to terrific effect.
She claimed three player of the match awards during the 2017/18 season in a series against West Indies; twice in two weeks, she and Amy Satterthwaite put together century partnerships.
