Javed’s form has been inconsistent. While she has the ability to score runs at a high strike-rate, but hasn’t done so on a regular basis
Born: December 16, 1991
Role: Right-hand bat, right-arm medium-fast
Iram Javed made her ODI and T20 debut in July 2013 against Ireland.
Since then - as of January 26, 2020 - she has played 35 T20Is, hitting 267 runs at an average of 10.26, a strike rate of 79.46, and with a high score of 55.
Her average does not do justice to her strong batting capabilities. She impressed for the PCB Dynamites in the recent National Triangular T20 Women’s Championship in Pakistan, scoring 35 off 28 balls in the first match, including three fours and two sixes.
In the second match she continued her aggressive style of play, scoring 20 not out off 18 balls, including one four and one six.
Despite the PCB Dynamites not making the final, she was one of the stand-out performers for her team and her performances in the tournament showed selectors that she is among Pakistan’s best female cricketers.
Javed’s form has been inconsistent. While she has the ability to score runs at a high strike-rate, but hasn’t done so on a regular basis.
In Pakistan’s 2019 T20I series against England she scored 1, 38 and 0 in the three games.
However, she must take confidence from her selection for Pakistan’s series against South Africa, Bangladesh and England and she will look to take her form for the PCB Dynamites into the upcoming T20 World Cup.
