Megan Belt is an off-spinner who has tasted plenty of success at the senior level.
She played a key part in Kent's Championship and T20 double in 2016, taking the second-most wickets of any bowler that season, topped the national wicket-taking table in the 2013 T20 Cup and was the county’s leading wicket-taker in their 2019 Championship victory with 12 wickets at 17.75.
At the inaugural Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, Belt took two wickets at 41 for the Stars.
A sports scholar at Canterbury Christ Church University, in 2020 Belt worked full-time as a PE teacher at Kent College alongside her studies and playing for Kent .
At that year’s Kent Cricket Awards, she won the ‘Bowler of the Year’ and the ‘Player’s Player of the Year’ gongs.
She plays club cricket at St Lawrence and Highland Court and was selected to represent Oval Invincibles in The Hundred in 2021.
