Nat Bowley has signed a contract extension with Leicestershire, seven months after agreeing his first professional deal with the county.
The 18-year-old off-spinner has penned a two-year agreement, taking him through to the end of the 2022 campaign.
Bowley has been at the club since the age of 13 and came through Leicestershire’s academy setup.
During his time rising through the age-groups, he played a starring role in the county’s under-17 side winning the Royal London Cup for a second successive year, before helping the club’s second team to reach the County Championship final in 2019.

When he first signed professional terms in January, head coach Paul Nixon said: “He is a wonderful young man with a quality attitude and high skill levels with the ball. It is clear that he has been working hard and making great progress with his batting as well.
“We are delighted with his progression and have rewarded him with his first contact.”
Then, he became the second player within a month to sign a pro deal, following in the footsteps of Alex Evans. Like Evans, Bowley is at Loughborough University, so his cricket will run along his studies.
