England allrounder Ben Stokes

Ben Stokes will undergo a scan on his hamstring on Thursday to establish whether or not he will be fit for the second Test against Pakistan.

The England allrounder felt tightness during fielding practice on Wednesday and is currently a doubt for the game at Headingley.

Sam Curran, the Surrey youngster, has been called into the squad as cover.

Should Stokes be unable to play, Curran would be in line for his international debut.

England are looking to make instant amends after losing the first Test at Lord's by nine wickets.
