Barbados Tridents confirm retained list ahead of CPL 2021

Shamarh Brooks, Rashid Khan, Mitchell Santner and Corey Anderson are all missing from the 2020 squad

Caribbean Premier League squads 2021

Barbados Trident have retained nine players from the squad which finished fifth in the 2020 Caribbean Premier League for the upcoming tournament.

Tridents captain Jason Holder is among the returning group along with fellow Barbadians Shai Hope, Kyle Mayers, Raymon Reifer, Justin Greaves, Nyeem Young and Joshua Bishop.

Opening batsman Johnson Charles (St Lucia) and 2019 player of the tournament Hayden Walsh Jr (U.S. Virgin Islands) have also been retained.

Former West Indies international Shamarh Brooks and overseas stars Rashid Khan, Mitchell Santner and Corey Anderson are the notable absentees from the 2020 squad. Ashley Nurse, Jonathan Carter, Keon Harding and Shayan Jahangir are also missing.

Tridents have eight spots left to fill in their squad as they go in search of their third CPL title.
