England will face Australia at Edgbaston after India take on New Zealand at Old Trafford
The ICC has announced its umpiring appointments for the World Cup semi-finals following Saturday’s conclusion of the tournament’s group stage.
India’s game against New Zealand at Old Trafford on Tuesday will be overseen by the English pair of Richard Illingworth and Richard Kettleborough.
Australian Rod Tucker will act as third umpire and Nigel Llong – a third Englishman – as the game’s fourth official.
In the second semi-final at Edgbaston, which sees England face Australia after Aaron Finch’s side lost top spot following defeat against South Africa, Sri Lanka’s Kumar Dharmasena and South African Marais Erasmus will be the men in the middle.
The third umpire for that game will be New Zealander Chris Gaffaney, with Aleem Dar the match’s fourth official.
Decisions on who will oversee Sunday’s final will be made at a later date.
