Once again, the competition will feature only four matches, bringing the overall number of fixtures held in the mini-tournament's history to just 13 since its inaugural edition in 2018
The fourth edition of the Women's T20 Challenge has been confirmed for later this month.
The event, which will be held in Pune, is due to span the playoff period of the Indian Premier League, beginning on May 23 – a day before the qualifier – and finishing on the evening ahead of the IPL final.
Once again, the competition will feature just four matches and three teams, bringing the overall number of fixtures held in the mini-tournament's history to just 13 since its inaugural edition in 2018.
It didn't take place in 2021, with India's tour of Australia running at the same time as it would likely have been played.

The top two sides from the three-team round-robin phase will progress to the final on May 28.
Two weeks ago, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly stated that the games would be played in Lucknow at the Ekana Stadium, but that is no longer the case.
It was reported in March that the BCCI is considering its options for a Women's IPL, beginning in 2023.
