Maia Bouchier and Charlie Dean are rewarded for impressive showings during the Regional T20 competition and The Hundred
England have included two uncapped players in their 15-strong squad for next month's T20 series against New Zealand.
Southern Vipers pair Maia Bouchier and Charlie Dean are the new faces added to the majority group that faced India earlier in the summer. Fran Wilson drops out.
Bouchier has scored 91 runs in the Charlotte Edwards Cup and struck another 92 at a strike rate of 143.75 for eventual runners-up Southern Brave in The Hundred.
Twenty-year-old Dean has claimed six wickets each for the Vipers and London Spirit this term.
"We’re looking at more players than ever before, which is so exciting," said coach Lisa Keightley.
“We’re seeing improvements across the board, and there were a number of young English players who also shone in The Hundred, which bodes really well for the future.
“This is another big series for us, and I want the team to continue from where they left off in the series win over India."
Heather Knight's side face the White Ferns in three T20s at Chelmsford, Hove and Taunton on September 1, 4 and 9. Five ODIs follow later in the month.
