England seamer Issy Wong has joined Western Storm for the duration of the Charlotte Edwards Cup.
Wong, 22, has joined temporarily from Central Sparks, for whom she has featured five times in this season's Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, taking three wickets.
She has been expensive in the 50-over competition, her wickets coming at 56.33 apiece. Playing for an ECB Development XI last week against Pakistan, she bowled eight wicketless overs for 33 runs.
The temporary move, with Wong not involved in England's ongoing series against Pakistan, has been sanctioned by the ECB, with Wong on a central contract. She has not played for England since a T20I defeat by Sri Lanka, coming at the end of a difficultt summer for the quick.

A Western Storm statement explained that the move was to enable Wong "to maximise her playing time over the coming weeks".
Wong, who was once again part of Mumbai Indians' WPL campaign in the spring, was left out for Sparks' Charlotte Edwards Cup opener against Storm.
The Cricketer also understands that Lloyd Tennant has left his role as Sparks' head coach.
