Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and Mithali Raj will captain the three sides in the competition - Supernovas, Trailblazers and Velocity - which include a number of international stars
Australia's world-conquering women's cricketers will not feature in the IPL Challenge tournament in November.
A clash with the WBBL, which is due to run from October 25 to November 29 in Sydney, is to blame for many of the game's leading players being absent from the four-match IPL event.
Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and Mithali Raj will captain the three sides in the competition - Supernovas, Trailblazers and Velocity - which include a number of international stars.
England are represented by the world's premier spin bowler, Sophie Ecclestone who is part of the Trailblazers squad, while Dani Wyatt features for Velocity.
Deandra Dottin of West Indies, Sri Lankan star Chamari Atapattu, South Africa's Sune Luus and Aussie Leigh Kasperek will all play a part.
The teams were picked by a selection committee, not via an auction.
The Women's IPL Challenge is set to take place in the UAE between November 4 and 9.
