Two emerging stars from the Women's Premier League lead the new wave of talent in India's squads for the T20I series and one-off Test against England.

Left-armer spinner Saika Ishaque has been named in both groups, earning a first international call-up after impressing for champions Mumbai Indians.

Meanwhile, fellow-spinner Shreyanka Patil, who is also an effective lower-order batter, is in the T20 party after backing up her form for Royal Challengers Bangalore while representing Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League, which she finished as the leading wicket-taker.

Renuka Singh, unable to push on from a fine T20 World Cup - she took seven wickets at 16 - is fit again after a stress fracture. The 27-year-old has been inactive since March and will lead the Indian attack.
