Hobart Hurricanes have bolstered their squad ahead of this year's Women's Big Bash with the signing of Heather Graham.
The allrounder has joined from Perth Scorchers, with whom she won the tournament in 2021.
Graham was part of the Australian squad that won the recent 50-over World Cup in New Zealand, filling in as a temporary replacement after Ashleigh Gardner was struck down with Covid.
She has only represented her country on a single occasion, back in 2019 in an ODI victory over Sri Lanka, and her departure from Perth marks the end of an era: Graham had only ever represented Scorchers in the competition since its inception.

"Obviously being originally from Perth and having played at the Scorchers from the very beginning, it was a really hard decision to move over to the Hurricanes, especially after the success we had at the Scorchers had last year," she said.
Graham was the fourth-highest wicket-taker in last year's tournament, and she joins a Hobart side that hasn't finished higher than sixth since the 2016/17 campaign.
Molly Strano, the WBBL's all-time leading wicket-taker, has extended her contract with Hurricanes through to 2024.
