The West Indies allrounder signs up for four matches in the 50-over competition
Thunder have signed up West Indies allrounder Deandra Dottin for their Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy campaign.
The 31-year-old, who has played 143 one-day internationals and 124 T20s for her country, goes straight into the team to face Northern Diamonds on Sunday (July 3).
Dottin played for Lancashire Thunder during the 2016 Kia Super League and is scheduled to play for Manchester Originals in the women's Hundred.
She is also set to vice-captain Barbados in the eight-team cricket competition at the Commonwealth Games.
"I am really excited to be in Manchester and ready to play in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for the first time with the Thunder," she said.

"I already know a few members of the squad following my time in the KSL six years ago and it will be a good opportunity to reunite with them and have some more fun playing cricket here.
"I am looking forward to playing at Emirates Old Trafford again, one of my favourite grounds in cricket."
After facing Diamonds, Dottin will be available for three additional games against Lightning, South East Stars and Central Sparks before her international and franchise commitments begin.
Regional director of women’s cricket for the North West David Thorley said: "Her experience will be crucial in helping a young side come together in the upcoming Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy competition and Deandra’s firepower with the bat will be a huge boost to our aim of posting imposing totals.
"Overseas signings have been rare since the inception of the regional structure in 2020 and we hope that Deandra will play a big role for us in the coming matches."
