Illness means the 22-year-old seamer will play no further part against Sri Lanka, leading to a recall for Davidson-Richards for the second and third ODIs in Northampton and Leicester on September 12 and 14
England have enlisted allrounder Alice Davidson-Richards for the remaining two matches of the one-day international series against Sri Lanka.
Lauren Bell has been ruled out with illness and didn't feature in the T20Is or the seven-wicket victory at Chester-Le-Street on Saturday (September 9).
Davidson-Richards, 29, has been added to the group for the games in Northampton and Leicester on September 12 and 14.
The allrounder has largely been reduced to a watching brief for England this summer, not featuring during the multi-format Ashes series or being named as part of the initial squads to face Sri Lanka.

She did represent England A against Australia A across June and July but never got the call from the senior team.
The South East Stars player has previously played four ODIs, taking four wickets and scoring 63 runs.
Last summer, Davidson-Richards marked her Test debut against South Africa at Taunton with her first international century.
Though devoid of international recognition, this summer has still been a fruitful one for Davidson-Richards. She took 10 wickets for women's Hundred runners-up Northern Superchargers and has a dozen in 10 matches in the ongoing Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.
