England have added Maia Bouchier to their squad for the five-match T20I series against West Indies as cover for the injured Alice Capsey.

Capsey was forced to withdraw from the tour after breaking her collarbone during the first ODI in Antigua.

The Southern Vipers batter has played 14 T20Is since her international debut in September 2021 but missed out on one of the 18 central contracts awarded in November.

Alice Davidson-Richards was only initially named in the ODI group but will now stay on for the T20Is, which begins from December 11 in Antigua.

An allrounder who can bat in the middle-order and be an additional bowling option, the 28-year-old hasn't played a match in the format for England since the 2018 tri-series against India and Australia.

Jon Lewis' first assignment as head coach since succeeding Lisa Keightley couldn't have started much better in the Caribbean.

It began with successive victories by 142 runs against a sub-par Windies to clinch the ODI series with a game to spare.

The series, which counts towards the 2022/25 ICC Women's Championship, concludes on Friday (December 9).
