West Indies have named Nic Pothas as their interim head coach.
Pothas, who had previously been fielding coach, will take on the role for the upcoming tour of Bangladesh following the departure of Stuart Law.
Law, the former Australia batsman, will shortly begin his new job as Middlesex head coach.
Windies director of cricket Jimmy Adams said: "Having Nic lead the team at this juncture is important for continuity and we look forward to strong and positive performances from the squad under his leadership".

Pothas said: "It is an honour to be asked to be the head coach of the West Indies cricket team for the immediate future. The Bangladesh series will be a tough challenge which we look forward to embracing."
The Windies begin their trip to Bangladesh on November 22, with the first Test in Chittagong.
Another Test follows in Mirpur prior to three one-day internationals and three T20Is.
