What's the match?

Adelaide Strikers host the Brisbane Heat in match 45 of the WBBL; the eighth edition of the tournament.

When is it taking place?

The game is scheduled to start at 5.30 pm local time (7 am GMT) on Monday, November 14.

Where is the match being played?

The game will be played in Adelaide at the Karen Rolton Oval.

Who's got the form?

Second play fifth in the WBBL. The Heat are just three points off top spot but come into this game off the back of defeat to Hurricanes. Strikers failed to beat the weather in their last game but also fell to the Hurricanes in the game prior to that.

Georgia Redmayne of the Brisbane Heat was top of the run-scoring charts for the large majority of the season but now finds herself 98 runs behind Beth Mooney after picking up a hamstring injury. If she fails to recover in time, it will put more emphasis on Danni Wyatt and Grace Harris.

Strikers boast an impressive bowling line-up. Amanda-Jade Wellington has 17 wickets and Megan Schutt has 14 as they continue to compete for the highest wicket-taker of the tournament. Deandra Dottin and Laura Wolvaardt add star quality to the batting order and if they are able to fire they can take the game away from any opposition.

The Strikers came out on top by 31 runs when they faced each other earlier in the season, thanks largely to 4 for 16 from Darcie Brown.

What's the key match-up?

Megan Schutt against Wyatt should be a huge match-up between two international players. The outcome of their battle may well decide how the innings ends up.

It will be interesting to see if Darcie Brown can repeat her hattrick heroics from the last time these two sides met.

What's the weather forecast?

There is inclement weather around Adelaide with a 70 per cent chance of rain.

What is the team news?

Redmayne is in a race to be fit for the Brisbane Heat. Pooja Vastrakar has been called back by the BCCI to prepare for their upcoming series and is replaced in the Heat squad by Jess Kerr.

What are the squads?
