The England international, who had signed for Perth Scorchers as a partial replacement for compatriot Danni Wyatt, has been forced to abandon her six-match contract after just three matches
England international Lauren Winfield-Hill has been ruled out of her remaining games with Perth Scorchers due to a quad injury.
The 33-year-old, who had signed a six-match contract with the Scorchers as a replacement for compatriot Danni Wyatt, sustained the injury during her side's victory over Hobart Hurricanes on October 25.
During her three appearances, she contributed scores of 27 and 29 in Perth's two wins against Hobart Hurricanes but only managed 14 as part of the 50-run defeat to Brisbane Heat.

The batter will miss Perth Scorchers' fixtures against Melbourne Stars (October 29), Sydney Sixers (October 31) and Melbourne Renegades (November 3).
There will be no overseas cover during Winfield-Hill's absence, but England teammate Nat Sciver-Brunt is due to join Perth Scorchers ahead of their match against Adelaide Strikers (November 5). The allrounder will be available for the remainder of the season.
Winfield-Hill had represented WBBL sides Melbourne Stars, Hobart Hurricanes, Adelaide Strikers, and Brisbane Heat prior to her stint with Perth Scorchers.
Despite not playing international cricket since December 2022, she will be hoping to regain fitness in time to be in contention for England's multi-format tour of India this winter.
