The South African, previously at Hobart Hurricanes, joins ahead of the eighth edition of the WBBL starting on October 13
Sydney Thunder have added Chloe Tryon to their squad ahead of the women's Big Bash League.
The South African allrounder, who spent two seasons with Hobart Hurricanes, returns to the WBBL ahead of the eighth edition starting on October 13.
Thunder kick off their campaign against Tryon's former club on October 14 at Blacktown International Sportspark Oval.
Key to the move was the 28-year-old's desire to play with Rachael Haynes, who takes her leave from professional cricket after the competition.

"I'm feeling good about my game," Tryon added. "When I go out to bat, I'll want to hit 'bombs,' but in saying that I'll always want to do what's good for the team.
"I plan to bring a lot of energy," she added. "The more time I have out in the middle the more chance I have to take games away.
"I'll trust my preparation and give myself every opportunity to take away the game from our opposition.
"I'll just adjust to the conditions as quickly as I can, and I'll let everything take care of itself."
