The Australian seamer, beset by injury in recent injury, leave Edgbaston after five years at the club during which he was part of the 2021 title-winning side
Warwickshire have confirmed the exit of Ryan Sidebottom after five years at the club.
The 33-year-old played 26 times across the formats since 2017, taking 62 wickets, but was often an injury victim.
Part of the LV= Insurance County Championship-winning squad in 2021, Sidebottom rates the achievement as his "career highlight".
Sidebottom was loaned to Division Two Derbyshire last summer but returned at the end of May after further fitness issues limited him to just three Championship appearances.
As Mark Robinson's side battled to avoid relegation from Division One - secured after a final-day win over Hampshire - Sidebottom played what turned out to be his final game for the club against Gloucestershire in September.
"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given at Edgbaston and I will look back at my Bears career with great pride," he said.
"Winning the County Championship will always be a career highlight and something I never thought I would do after making my debut for Victoria in 2013.
"I will always cherish the memories and friends I have made here and thank the Members for their support."
Director of Cricket Paul Farbrace added: "Ryan has given a huge amount to the club during his time as a Bear and worked very hard to become a senior member of the squad."
