A game is approximately 2hrs 30 mins. Not as long as a test series or 1 day matches. Love it! And batsman are working on hitting the boundary all the time so it keeps everyone on edge.

Have just watched Somerset vs Glamorgan in a brilliant 50 over game, without all of the moronic chanting that so pollutes the modern cricket scene The streaming of one day cricket this year from all counties has been first class. As for the hundred-what a load of tripe. It’s just a money making exercise in short term titillation for people who’s sole interest in cricket is to get drunk and ruin other people’s enjoyment

I’m watching worcs v Kent 50 over game……..we (worcs) seem to be five players short “because they are in the 100”. What is going on? At new rd players are brought on over a number of seasons. One can remember Moin as 7 and not as a bowler at all.Look at him now. And what thanks do the counties get.? Watch him playing pyjama cricket with dismissals invariably caught in the deep. Just not cricket, to coin a phrase. Who are we supposed to support in this new venture….teams are mercenaries. Won’t be watching any more. I fear for the future of the game. Let’s play baseball if that’s what people want, but I have 4 grandchildren [2of each)all involved in county schools teams how will they learn the basic skills? Very sad. Dbh

Joke competition. Complete farce. It has totally devalued the 50 over competition and consequently the England ODI team will suffer as no potential England ODI players will be playing 50 over cricket. It’s just about money! Disastrous for English cricket.

I think it would be great for the popularity of cricket not only in England but also around the world. Moreover it would attract English fans to come to the ground and have a jolly time. Now it's up ECB to persuade indian cricket board to take part in it,which will make it one of the best cricket leagues globally. I am realy looking forward to it.
