Birmingham Phoenix host Trent Rockets in the fifth match of the women's Hundred 2023.
The game is due to start at 2.30pm BST on Saturday, August 5.
Birmingham Phoenix play their home matches at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
Birmingham Phoenix's 2023 Hundred campaign began in rather bleak fashion after they were convincingly defeated by the Northern Superchargers, losing by seven wickets with 23 balls remaining of the innings. The one shining light was Sophie Devine, who scored 46 runs; however, the next best was Abbey Freeborn with 14 runs. It wasn't much better with the ball, with the Phoenix taking just three wickets. They'll be hoping to improve their bowling and avoid another batting collapse.
It wasn't much of a better start for the Rockets either, who were beaten comfortably by the Southern Brave, losing by 27 runs. Nat Sciver-Brunt was the highest scorer for the Trent Rockets, scoring 49 runs off 31 balls, while Harmanpreet Kaur also did reasonably well, hitting 22 off 17 balls. Bryony Smith was the standout with the ball for the Rockets, taking two wickets.
Both sides will be eager to improve on their lacklustre starts.
Devine will be the key wicket for the Rockets, and Katherine Sciver-Brunt will be hoping to keep her quiet. Despite only taking one wicket in the previous game, Katie Levick's economy of 4.50 against the Superchargers will be crucial for the Phoenix when it comes to dealing with Rockets captain Nat Sciver-Brunt.

The fact that both teams got off to such a poor start could make for an exciting game; however, despite being so evenly poised, Birmingham Phoenix have the slight edge on paper.
