What's the match?

When is it taking place?

The game is due to start at 6pm BST on Saturday, August 12.

Where is the match taking place?

Welsh Fire's home ground is Sophia Gardens in Cardiff.

Who's got the form?

Welsh Fire put on an exceptional all-round performance at Edgbaston on August 10 against Birmingham Phoenix. Tom Abell's side dominated Phoenix, cruising to victory with 15 balls remaining of the innings. The Fire were ruthless with the ball, with Haris Rauf, David Payne, and Roelof van der Merwe picking up two wickets each, while Shaheen Shah Afridi also took a wicket to restrict Phoenix to a total of just 112.

Stephen Eskinazi impressed with the bat, scoring a free-flowing 43 of 18, hitting some outrageously composed scoop shots in the process, while Abell and Joe Clarke helped the Fire successfully chase down 113 with ease.

Southern Brave had their fixture against London Spirit cut short on August 8, with play abandoned after just 26 balls due to bad weather. Despite this, Brave continued to demonstrate their fragility with the bat, losing three wickets for just 34.

Prior to their game against Spirit, Brave lost by 60 runs against Northern Superchargers, where they struggled to a total of 141 for 5.

When these two sides met earlier in the competiton, Fire lost to Southern Brave by two runs after fireworks from Chris Jordan with the bat.

What's the key matchup?

Welsh Fire boast an incredibly devastating bowling attack, which is perhaps the strongest in the tournament. Devon Conway, James Vince, and Tim David will have to be in their best form to match the likes of Rauf and Afridi.

Craig Overton and Tymal Mills will be required to take the important wickets of Eskinazi, Clarke, and Wells as early in the powerplay as possible.
