Manchester Originals host London Spirit in the sixth match of the men's Hundred 2023.
The game is due to start at 2.30pm BST on Saturday, August 5.
Originals host their matches at Lancashire and Thunder's home ground, Old Trafford in Manchester.
London Spirit and Manchester Originals will both be looking to bounce back having both lost their first game of the season.
Spirit got off to a brilliant start against Oval Invincibles before losing regular wickets and only making 131. They made a good attempt to defend this total putting themselves in a good position to win with the Invincibles needing 15 off the final set but ultimately came up short, losing by three wickets.
Originals played a reduced game with only 40 balls per side. Welsh Fire took their bowling lineup apart with Luke Wells particularly impactful, scoring 57 from just 23 balls to help his side to 95. Despite a good effort with the bat the Originals were unable to chase the daunting target, only making 85.
Both of these sides have impressive batting prowess at the top of their order. Spirit have England's in-form man Zak Crawley returning to bolster an already strong batting lineup. Manchester Originals have two of England’s World Cup winners opening. Whoever wins the battle of the powerplays will have taken a big step towards winning this game.
