What's the match?

Oval Invincibles host Birmingham Phoenix in the latest game of the 2022 men's Hundred competition.

When is it taking place?

The match is scheduled to start at 6.30pm BST on Tuesday, August 23.

Where is the match being played?

This is the second slice of a doubleheader at the Kia Oval, with a women's fixture between the same two sides preceding this match

Who's got the form?

It's been a mixed bag for the Oval Invincibles, who have triumphed in three of their five matches this season. Sitting third, they will be hoping to maintain the pressure on Trent Rockets and London Spirit, both of whom sit above them in the table.

The gulf in class showed last time out for Invincibles when the Rockets inflicted a 25-run defeat on them, with Tabraiz Shamsi wreaking havoc with the ball. Jordan Cox showed his power with the bat, smashing 61 off 33 without losing his wicket, but in the end it was the combination of Alex Hales and Dawid Malan that sentenced the capital side to defeat.

Birmingham Phoenix have also won three matches from five but suffered a surprise 32-run defeat against Northern Superchargers on Friday evening. Liam Livingstone and Moeen Ali scored 5 and 1, respectively, as their batting firepower wilted in the face of the Superchargers' bowling attack.

A match that carries a great deal of promise with a spot in the top three at stake.

What's the team news?

Both sides arrive into Tuesday without any fresh injury concerns following their respective defeats.

What's the key match-up?

Will Jacks' 108 not out from 48 deliveries will be hard to pip as a top-score, but Oval Invincibles are still waiting for Jason Roy to really hit the ground running. Throw in Rilee Rossouw, Sam Billings, Cox, and Sam Curran and they boast one of the leading batting line-ups in The Hundred.

Leading the tournament's wickets column is Trinidadian Sunil Narine, who has nine scalps from 100 balls.

And it'll be the 34-year-old off-spinner who will attempt to mute the firepower of Livingstone, Will Smeed and Moeen. A fierce core of batters that, when all on form, will heap the pain on the opposing bowling attack.

With the ball, Kane Richardson and Tom Helm strike fear as they crash down the wicket. They have seven wickets apiece but, like Narine and co, have a tough task on their hands.

Can I get tickets?
