London Spirit host Oval Invincibles in the London derby at Lord’s in the latest game of the men’s 2022 Hundred competition.
The match is scheduled to commence at 7pm BST on Saturday, August 27.
The second match of a Saturday doubleheader, Lord’s is the venue, with the women’s fixture between the same teams preceding the men’s match.
A fiery capital clash is in store with table-toppers London Spirit playing for a win that will go a long way in sealing a direct route to the final.
With Trent Rockets breathing down Spirit’s neck level on points but having played a game more, victory for the Lord’s-based side is essential if they are to avoid an Eliminator. But form is on their side following one defeat in their six matches, that coming against Rockets themselves.
The Invincibles' campaign is dwindling to a rather undignified end, having won three and lost three from their six matches thus far. Victory is crucial for Tom Moody’s side if they to have any chance of qualifying, and they will have to rely on youngsters Will Jacks and Jordan Cox if they are to succeed.

Glenn Maxwell departed the Spirit squad after he joined up with Australia ahead of the Zimbabwe ODIs. Josh Inglis returned to the team as his direct replacement but has yet to feature. Kieron Pollard has left for the Caribbean Premier League.
Invincibles are without Sunil Narine after he departed for the CPL. Mohammad Hasnain has been called up by Pakistan while Reece Topley is taking a break from the game ahead of the Pakistan tour and the World Cup.
Carlos Brathwaite, fresh from the BBC commentary box, has been enlisted as a replacement overseas player for the remainder of the campaign.
Key to London Spirit’s success has been their bowling attack, with Jordan Thompson, Chris Wood and Nathan Ellis taking 20 wickets between them.
Meanwhile, Jacks and Cox have been the Invincibles' leading run scorers with 205 and 180 respectively, but they will be disappointed by the lack of impact from Jason Roy, who has mustered a mere 51 runs from as many balls.
The main issue for the visitors is filling the void left by Narine, who with 11 wickets and an economy rate of 6.05 is both a wicket-taker and economical in the middle sets.
There are limited tickets available for this Hundred match.
A pleasant evening awaits with highs of 24 degrees Celsius.
