Nat Sciver has taken a break from captaining Trent Rockets in order to "focus on her own game".
Elyse Villani was named as captain for the franchise's clash with Welsh Fire on August 29.
Sciver skippered the Rockets in four of their previous five outings, missing their opening match for personal reasons.

In those matches, she has scored 151 runs at a strike rate of 105.59, including an unbeaten half-century against Oval Invincibles and 42 not out against London Spirit. Her bowling, however, has been problematic, with the allrounder taking three wickets and recording an economy of 10.25.
Sciver also captained England during the Commonwealth Games earlier this summer after Heather Knight was ruled out with a hip injury. She contributed 104 runs and three wickets as England finished fourth.
With Knight set to be on the sidelines for a couple of months, Sciver is expected to captain England against India this September.
