New Zealand international Maddy Green is to join the Welsh Fire squad when Hayley Matthews departs for the Caribbean Premier League.
West Indies batter Matthews is set to play her final Hundred game of the season for Fire against Southern Brave at Sophia Gardens on Monday (August 22).
She is set to return to the Caribbean ahead of the CPL campaign, and its 10-over warmup act, the 6ixty. Matthews is due to represent Barbados Royals.

Green, 29, is an off-spinning allrounder with 118 international caps for the Kiwis across formats.
She was a part of the New Zealand side which beat England to bronze at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham earlier in the summer.
Matthews will only manage three innings for Fire in 2022; her two knocks prior to the visit of Brave to Cardiff have brought 89 runs at a strike rate of 159.
