Kerr will take part in the competition for Southern Brave in 2021, after a year's delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic
Finch, Russell, Williamson confirmed for The Hundred
New Zealand international Amelia Kerr is among the raft of names confirmed for the first season of The Hundred.
Kerr will take part in the competition for Southern Brave in 2021, after a year's delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The eight clubs have until June to finalise their squads.
Kerr said: “I’m so excited to represent Southern Brave in The Hundred. Hopefully, I can complement what is already an incredibly talented team and it’s great to see so many amazing international players going head-to-head. I'm looking forward to putting on a show and continuing to put the women’s game on the map.”
Elsewhere, Manchester Originals have confirmed the signing of spinner Alex Hartley, while young speedster Issy Wong will play for Birmingham Phoenix.
England international seamer Freya Davies has been confirmed as part of the London Spirit set-up, and South Africa's Dane van Niekerk has been recruited by Oval Invincibles.
Davies said: “Lord’s is a brilliant place to play cricket and it’ll be really special to call it home with London Spirit this summer. The Hundred is a fantastic opportunity, representing another important step in growing the sport for women and girls.”
