Surrey will be without Tom Curran for the rest of the county season after the allrounder suffered a side strain.
Curran picked up the problem during his team's T20 Blast game against Sussex Sharks on Thursday and will be forced to watch the remainder of the campaign from the sidelines.
He will undergo rehabilitation work with the Surrey and England medical teams, with the aim of recovering in time to be considered for selection for the tour of New Zealand in November.
Curran took 26 wickets for Surrey across all formats in 2019.
He was part of England's World Cup-winning squad but did not feature in a starting XI.
