What’s the lowdown? 

Both sides head into this fixture with the wind in their sails. Worcestershire defeated Durham by eight wickets on Friday to end a four-match winless run (three defeats, one lost to the weather), with Brett D'Oliveira (67 off 66) and Jake Libby (78 off 67) the stars. The Rapids are currently unbeaten at New Road this season, winning two and tying one of their three completed matches.

Leicestershire, meanwhile, are on a three-match winning run, having defeated Northants, Derbyshire Falcons, and Yorkshire Vikings in the past seven days. Against Yorkshire, Aaron Lilley scored 99 not out off just 55 balls to help the Foxes post 207 for 3 before limiting the Vikings to 173 to record an unexpected 34-run victory.

Who’s in form?

As mentioned, D'Oliveira and Libby were the stars for Worcestershire against Durham, putting on a 145-run second-wicket stand. Libby is the side's leading run-scorer with 193 runs and two half-centuries in seven innings while D'Oliveira is second with 178 runs and a strike rate of 127.14.

With the ball, Charlie Morris and Ben Dwarshuis are Rapids' leading wicket-takers, with 10 and eight, repsectively. Dwarshuis, in particular, looked strong against Durham, taking an economical 2 for 27.

For Leicestershire, Lilley is in good form with the bat, scoring 152 of his 248 runs for the season in their previous three matches, including important knocks of 99 and 44. Josh Inglis, meanwhile, scored a memorable century against Northants, but hasn't fired in the Foxes previous two victories, scoring 11 and 16.

Naveen-ul-Haq and Callum Parkinson have been the pick of the bowlers. Naveen, who is joint-second overall in the competition's wicket-taking standings, has 14 wickets and an economy of 8.85. Parkinson, meanwhile, was instrumental against Yorkshire, taking 4 for 35 to move to 11 wickets for the season.

By car 

From the north: From the M5 junction 7 follow the cricket stumps on the roadsigns to the ground.

From the south: From M5 junction 7 follow the cricket stumps on the road signs to the ground.

From the east: From the A422, Alcester, continue on this road to the roundabout junction with the A4440 (Swinesherd Way), take second exit at roundabout on to A44, continue to follow the A44 and it will lead you to New Road, the ground will be on your left.

From the west: From the A44, Evesham, stay on the A44 (east) and it will lead you to New Road, the ground will be on your left.

By bus

Once you are in Worcester city centre’s bus station that is beneath the Crown Gate Shopping Centre, walk out of the station, turn left, continue to walk straight ahead to a pedestrian crossing, walk across this and another pedestrian crossing, continue across the bridge over the Severn River and you will arrive at the ground on your left.

By train

Worcester Foregate Street is the closest train station to the ground and is approximately half a mile from the ground. To get to the ground from Foregate Street station turn left out of the main entrance, head towards the cross where you turn right onto Broad Street. Continue straight, across two pedestrian crossings to get to the other side of New Road, walk over the bridge and you will shortly arrive at the ground on your left.
