The Cricketer looks ahead to the day's three games in the domestic T20 competition, including the latest instalment of the Roses match between Yorkshire and Lancashire
Where: Headingley
When: Thursday, July 25. Play begins at 7pm.
Lowdown: The one neither side wants to lose, table-topping Lancashire face sixth-place Yorkshire. Both sides have had one game wiped out due to rain, but while Lancashire thrashed Durham in their other match, Yorkshire fell to Derbyshire in theirs.
One to watch: Glenn Maxwell. Facing his former side, having spent the 2015 season with Yorkshire, the Australian allrounder now dons the red of Lancashire and comes into the game in good form after his half-century against Durham. He may provide a thrilling spectacle.
Weather: The heatwave is also coming to the north of England with temperatures set to be around 29 degrees in the county when the game starts, with the sun still shining.
Tickets: Tickets are still available, but only with restricted view. Adult £24, Under 16 £5 - click here for more details.

Where: Cheltenham
When: Thursday, July 25. Play begins at 2:30pm.
Lowdown: Gloucestershire were frustrated by rain in their only T20 Blast match so far this season against Glamorgan, while Middlesex have won both of their games so far with wins over Essex and Surrey.
One to Watch: Benny Howell. Looked good by taking 5-18 from his four overs against Glamorgan before showers intervened and prevented a result, and he will hope to cause further havoc among a strong Middlesex batting lineup here.
Weather: The sun will be on full show in Cheltenham with temperatures entering the low thirties by the time the game gets underway.
Tickets: Tickets for this game are sold out.
Prediction: Middlesex
