NORTH DIVISION

Northamptonshire v Lancashire

Where: County Ground, Northampton

When: Wednesday, August 14. Play begins at 6:30pm.

Lowdown: Lancashire held out the longest of any side in the competition but were defeated for the first time against Birmingham on Sunday, so will be looking to bounce back against a Northants team that has won just twice in the Blast this campaign.

One to watch: Northants have been frustrated by the rain in their previous two outings, but against Leicestershire Ben Sanderson showed what he is all about with a four-fer. Where would they be without him?

Weather: The rain is forecast to have cleared by the start time, however the impact of the showers that are likely to fall throughout the day may cause some disruption to this fixture.

Tickets: Adults £20, Under 18s £10 - click here for further details

Prediction: Lancashire

SOUTH DIVISION

Essex v Middlesex

Where: Chelmsford

When: Wednesday, August 14. Play begins at 7pm.

Lowdown: An almost must-win game for the hosts who need to overcome second-place Middlesex if they are to have any chance of reaching the knockout stages.

One to watch: Aaron Beard disappeared for plenty against Somerset and will need to bounce back strong here after a disappointing return so far in the Blast.

Weather: Rain is forecast throughout the day and at the beginning of the match here, so chances of play appear bleak.

Tickets: Sold out

Prediction: Middlesex

Kent v Glamorgan

Where: Canterbury

When: Wednesday, August 14. Play begins at 7pm.

Lowdown: Having lost three of their last fouyr matches, Kent are in need of arresting their slide from the top of the South Division to third with a win against bottom side Glamorgan.

One to watch: Another defeat for Glamorgan against Surrey but their bright spark came from Ruaidhri Smith, who made an encouraging comeback from injury as he took 3/21.

Weather: A washout seems fairly likely with rain forecast throughout the day and night.

Tickets: Adults £25, Under 16s £7 - click here for further details

Prediction: Kent
