Fixture: Surrey v Glamorgan
Venue: The Kia Oval
Date: Monday, June 14, 2021
Start time: 6.30pm
What’s the lowdown?
Surrey have made a perfect start to their 2021 campaign as they look to go one better, following last year's run to the final.
They kicked off their campaign with a comfortable 54-run victory over Middlesex after hitting 223 for 7 from their 20 overs.
And that was backed up with a seven-wicket win over Somerset, again on the road, chasing down their target with four overs remaining.
Glamorgan have begun the season in respectable fashion, losing by just fours runs in their opener with Gloucestershire. They backed that display up with their first win of the season, beating Essex Eagles by seven wickets.
Who’s in form?
It is hard to ignore the form of Sam Curran, who is warming up nicely for the international white-ball season.
The 23-year-old has been effective with bat and ball already in the opening two games, backing up his four wickets in the opening game with an unbeaten 72 in victory over Somerset.
Similarly, Marnus Labuschagne is showing again what Australia are missing in the T20 format having already hit 152 runs across the opening two games after backing up his 93 not out against Gloucestershire with another half-century in the win over Essex.
Unavailable for his country for the West Indies white-ball tour due to Covid restrictions, Glamorgan will continue to benefit from Labuschagne who has also added two wickets to his imperious batting displays

Prediction?
Both of these sides are in decent form but given The Kia Oval is traditionally bat-friendly it favours a stacked order. Surrey have the edge in those stakes and are favourites to make it three from three.
