The left-arm seamer has departed for Pakistan's training camp in Karachi ahead of the Sri Lanka Test series and will miss the trip to Taunton to face Somerset on Friday
Shaheen Shah Afridi will be absent from Notts Outlaws' attempts to reach T20 Blast Finals Day for a seventh time.
The left-arm seamer, originally signed for the duration of the competition, is required for Pakistan's training camp in Karachi this week ahead of the two-Test Sri Lanka series starting later this month.
Afridi hasn't played Test cricket in nearly a year largely due to a knee injury, missing the series against Australia, England and New Zealand.

But he returned to international cricket during the New Zealand white-ball series having captained Lahore Qalandars to a second successive Pakistan Super League title.
Upon being included in the 16-strong squad, the 23-year-old said he was "very excited" ahead of his return to the format.
But Pakistan's gain is Notts' loss. His 22 wickets played a major role in Peter Moores' side finishing fourth in the North Group and booking a quarter-final against South Group winners Somerset, who progressed with a dozen wins from their 14 matches, at Taunton on Friday (July 7).

Highlights include taking four wickets in his first over against Birmingham Bears, while on Sunday (July 2) he closed out victory over Leicestershire Foxes with a fine display of death bowling.
The Trent Bridge club are chasing a third title to back up their triumphs in 2017 - when they overcame Somerset in the quarter-finals - and 2020. Though it will be no consolation to Notts, Afridi will return to the UK to represent Welsh Fire in the men's Hundred, which begins from August 1.
It remains to be seen whether Notts plump for a replacement or entrust an attack led by Jake Ball, Steven Mullaney and spinners Matt Montgomery and Matt Carter. Pakistan's Imad Wasim was signed as an injury stand-in up until the last eight with Colin Munro out injured since late June.
Jack Brooks was loaned earlier in the campaign from Friday's opponents Somerset, taking six wickets in two matches.

Notts are not the only side hurt by international call-ups.
Birmingham Bears lost Hassan Ali for the back-end of the competition, including the quarter-final visit of Essex Eagles on Thursday (July 6) having been enlisted by Pakistan.
Last week, the club added West Indies left-arm seamer Dominic Drakes as a replacement. He made his debut in the weekend win over Durham, taking 2 for 34.
