Check out the must-have tunes that get Vitality Blast players pumped up

Top cricketers from around the UK tell us their favourite tracks

PROMOTIONAL FEATURE

Cricketers around the country have been switching it up and adding their favourite tracks to the Vitality Playlist.

With the Vitality Blast now in full swing, we've been finding out which tunes get them moving, so you can join in too.

Leicestershire's Ben Mike picked 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton, which is “an exciting song” and something he can “definitely see getting people up and about in the morning”.

For Derbyshire's Ross Whiteley, Lose Yourself is “motivating” and “what you want when you’re about to play”.

Essex’s Matt Critchley is sure the crowd at Chelmsford would “love” Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten. Maybe not his teammates though, who he claims they have “got no taste in music”!

For Kent’s Tawanda Muyeye, Oscar Mbo’s Yes God is one of the first songs he listens to when he wakes up, and he definitely thinks people “would vibe with it”.

Yorkshire’s Dan Moriarty, who styles himself ‘DJ Mozza’, chose Can’t Stop by the Red Hot Chili Peppers because it takes him back to his childhood memories and makes him feel “happy and excited”.

For Durham’s Daniel Hogg, Hot N Cold by Katy Perry is his tune of choice because it’s “suitable for any occasion”. It also reminds him of his best bowling performance, when he took six wickets against Lancashire 2nd XI last year.

Head to the Vitality Playlist to listen in and get yourself moving. Plus, get lots of expert tips and tricks to stay at your best this summer with Vitality health and life insurance.
