Lowdown: Hampshire have not beaten Sussex in any of their last five meetings. In their last encounter earlier in the competition, the Sharks took until the penultimate ball to chase down Hampshire’s 176 for 5. Skipper Luke Wright took the game away from Hampshire after smacking 82 off just 55 balls to secure victory.

For far in the competition, Sussex have played four games and won two of them, while Hampshire have only claimed one success with two of their matches falling foul of the weather.

One to watch: Luke Wright took the game away from Hampshire once, and will look to do the same again. Alongside David Weise the two look to be an extremely dangerous pair even with Phil Salt absent.

Weather: It will be mostly sunny throughout the day with cloudy spells.

Prediction: Sussex are yet to lose against Hampshire, and expect to take home another victory to boost their chances of qualifying.
