Ahead of his second permanent spell at Hove, the allrounder has signed a loan deal and is available for three of the four remaining red-ball matches but won't play against parent club Derbyshire
Sussex have confirmed Fynn Hudson-Prentice's return to the club has been brought forward in the form of a loan deal from Derbyshire.
The 25-year-old bowling allrounder was due to re-sign permanently with the Hove side from Derbyshire at the end of the 2021 season.
But he has signed up for three of Sussex's four remaining LV=Insurance County Championship matches.
Hudson-Prentice will be available to face Worcestershire, Middlesex and Leicestershire but is ineligible to play against parent club Derbyshire in Division Three.
In nine Championship matches this season, the Haywards Heath native has taken 23 wickets and scored 209 runs for Derbyshire during a winless campaign in Group 1.
After three seasons with Sussex between 2014 and 2016, Hudson-Prentice was released and in 2019 signed a deal with Derbyshire, where he has spent the last three campaigns.
