Atkinson came through the Surrey academy before making his first-team debut in 2020. He has picked up 96 wickets in 53 matches, including 20 wickets in just five Championship appearances this season.

A fast bowler who regularly pushes the speed gun above 90mph, he made his ODI and T20I debuts this summer and has been included in England's World Cup squad.

Steel made his Surrey debut in 2021, initially joining on loan from Durham before his two-year contract kicked in ahead of the 2022 campaign.

During his time at the Kia Oval, the 28-year-old has chalked up 830 runs and taken 39 wickets in 39 appearances.
