The Australian allrounder will be available for three first-class matches and the entire Blast group stage between May 24 and the end of July
Surrey have named Aaron Hardie as their second overseas signing for the 2024 season.
The Australian allrounder will be available for three County Championship matches and the entire T20 Blast group stage between May 24 and the end of July.
Hardie previously called the Kia Oval home during the 2022 campaign, scoring 86 runs and taking two wickets in one first-class outing and also featuring three times in the T20 Blast.
"I'm stoked to come back to Surrey this summer. I loved my time at the club in 2022 and got a real sense of what it means to wear the Three Feathers," he said. "I'm ready to chip in and support the team with bat or ball and do my bit in trying to bring more success to south London."

Since featuring for Surrey in 2022, Hardie has gone on to debut for Australia in both ODI and T20I cricket, earning 10 caps.
Best known for his T20 talents, he has scored 1,122 runs ta a strike rate of 132.93 and taken 30 wickets with an economy of 8.63 in 63 appearances and captured two Big Bash titles with Perth Scorchers.
In first-class cricket, meanwhile, he has scored 1,595 runs at 43.10, including three centuries and six half-centuries, and taken 62 wickets at 27.74, in 30 matches.
Director of cricket, Alec Stewart, added: "It's great to have Aaron back at the Kia Oval as his character and all-round skills in both red and white-ball cricket will be an excellent addition to our squad. He already knows our dressing room from his time with us in 2022 and I'm very confident he will show everyone why he is so highly regarded in Australia."
