Where is the match being played?

Every game in the 2021 Caribbean Premier League is being held at Warner Park on St Kitts, in an effort to minimise the Covid-19 risk to the tournament.

Who’s got the form?

The Warriors come into this game off two wins from their opening four. Their most recent outing on September 1 was surely the most exciting game in the CPL so far - after tying with Trinbago Knight Riders with 138 runs a piece, they managed to defend just six runs in a super over which went down to the final ball - meaning they come into the game full of confidence.

They were previously by the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, despite an impressive 166 which was not enough to hold off the batting power of one of the pre-tournament favourites.

The Kings have also got off to a frustrating start, with two wins out of four. Their opener, against the Tallawahs, saw them hammered by 120 runs. While they sneaked home against the Knight Riders on August 29, they were then beaten in the return fixture two days later.

Who to watch?

Guyana Amazon Warriors boast a strong top order, and the opener Mohammad Hafeez will be set on repeating his performance against the Patriots, though his side were ultimately defeated. The Pakistan international racked up 70 runs off 59 balls, and was helped by his number three - Shimron Hetmyer, who also made a half-century, including three sixes.

Hafeez went on to take three wickets against the Patriots yesterday, making him the top wicket taker in that game for his side.

The Kings' runs in their victory against the Knight Riders came all the way down the battting order. The partnership betwen Roston Chase and Tim David yielded a 50 ball 68, a necessary stand after regular hard-hitter Faf du Plessis had to settle for just 10 runs.

On the bowling front, watch out, of course, for Imran Tahir. The South African took two wickets last time out - those of the two Patriot openers, completing his allocation for the concession of just 12 runs. The Kings will be looking to Wahab Riaz, who snagged in their only win so far - as well as Roston Chase, who as well as batting in the middle order has taken four wickets in the tournament, demonstrating his all-rounder's process.
