David replaces Liam Livingstone, who is currently injured, while Brookes comes into the squad in place of Olly Stone
Tim David and Henry Brookes have been added to MI Cape Town's roster for the remainder of the 2023 SA20 campaign.
David replaces Liam Livingstone, who has been absent for the entire tournament due to injury.
The Australia international, a favourite on the franchise circuit, has scored 3,261 runs at a strike rate of 162.88 from 152 T20 appearances.
He arrives in South Africa off the back of a productive stint in the Big Bash with Hobart Hurricanes, for whom he scored 345 runs at a strike rate of 160.90 and also picked up one wicket.

Brookes, meanwhile, replaces Olly Stone, who took six wickets and returned best figures of 4 for 28 during MI Cape Town's opening seven matches.
23-year-old Brookes has chalked up 37 T20 appearances for Warwickshire and Birmingham Phoenix since making his debut in the format in 2018, taking 46 wickets.
MI Cape Town are second bottom in the table after seven matches, winning just one match from their past four. However, with three games remaining and just four points separating them from second-placed Sunrisers Eastern Cape, they still have plenty to play for.
They will resume their season against Durban Super Giants on February 2.
