Joburg never recovered from being bundled out inside 16 overs, with Pretoria showing no mercy in response
Centurion: Joburg Super Kings 122, Pretoria Capitals 123-4 - Pretoria Capitals win by six wickets
Pretoria Capitals made light work of Joburg Super Kings, who threw away a rapid start to be bowled out cheaply and could never recover.
Faf du Plessis had raced to a half century inside a powerplay that brought 70 runs for Joburg, but he was the third man out in a harum-scarum display that was chaotic from the moment Reeza Hendricks edged behind to the first delivery of the match.
Capitals swarmed all over their opponents thereafter; Leus du Plooy – who'd been a pivotal part in winning the reverse fixture for his team only 24 hours earlier – could only make 14 this time.
Kyle Verreynne chopped on for three and Lewis Gregory was strangled down the legside without scoring as the house of cards tumbled.
Super Kings' batting has struggled throughout the competition so far, reliant mainly on individual acts quality. But other than du Plessis' early cameo, there was little to speak of.
Donovan Ferreira, with an unbeaten 82 already against Durban Super Giants, briefly took on Adil Rashid, but the England leg-spinner had the last laugh, slowing up the pace and turning a leg-break onto his off-stump for 17 – the eighth wicket to fall still in the eleventh over.

Jimmy Neesham ended with figures of 3 for 7, but his most spectacular contribution came in catching Romario Shepherd in his left hand at backward point off Anrich Nortje, an effort that appeared to surprise even himself.
Only a couple of lusty blows from Aaron Phangiso at No.10 took the total into three figures.
That was never likely to trouble Pretoria, who flew out of the traps with Will Jacks and Phil Salt.
Jacks punched a pair of perfect straight drives to the boundary and timed sixes over extra cover and midwicket, all in the space of 15 balls. He fell for 34, flashing a flat catch to deep cover in the fourth over, by which point Capitals were nearing halfway to their total.
Theunis de Bruyn was run out three balls later, unfortunate to see Salt's straight drive deflect off Romario Shepherd's boot and onto the stumps, before Rilee Rossouw lost his middle stump as he aimed a violent swing into the legside to end a frenetic cameo. Shane Dadswell provided more sedate company for Salt, who eased to a second half century of the tournament and guided Pretoria to the most dominant win imaginable.
