Rachel Slater began playing cricket when she was six years old and come through the age groups at Yorkshire, captaining the side at Under-15s.

She made her senior bow for the county in 2019 and joined Northern Diamonds ahead of the 2020 season.

Slater impressed with five wickets in four T20 matches for the Diamonds in 2021 and made a further four appearances in the format in 2022 as well as featuring sporadically in the 50-over side.

The New York-born bowler represents Scotland at international level, making her senior debut in 2022.
